Weight management is an issue everyone is struggling with in today’s times, with the hectic lifestyle and never-ending work hours.

With all these deadlines to meet and things to do, nobody has the time to sit counting calories and measuring food to ensure the calorie intake is within the desired limit, and most of us tend to go overboard without even knowing it. Sure, you can hit the gym and that’s a brilliant option but then again how many of us actually have the time to visit the gym if you don’t have the time to eat right, and we’ve probably heard the phrase – Diet is 70% and exercise is only 30%. So what is this diet all about? And how are you going to manage your weight by eating right. You can start by including foods that have a low-calorie amount and high fiber, as well as replace simple carbs such as breads and rice with complex carbs such as multigrain and brown rice.

Now, in this whole picture it's Chia seeds that are our pick of the foods for weight management, making it a superfood in our opinion, especially for those guys looking to shed some pounds. Chia seeds boast of containing high amounts of protein, that increase fat burning and help muscle building. They also happen to be a storehouse of calcium and omega 3, elements that your body craves for but is often deprived of! Besides this, Chia seeds are high in fiber and antioxidants, making sure that you have pure blood and impurities are regularly flushed out of your system. More than anything though, is the fact that chia seeds taste absolutely brilliant! They should be used a multigrain replacement for white bread, and in muffins, pastas, breads etc. They not only taste better, but end up doing your body a world of good because they’re extremely high in fiber and low in caloric index. What this means in simple words, is that the seeds make you feel fuller for longer periods of time, making you feel less hungry and killing off some of the hunger. You also eat lesser amounts and smaller meals. What happens as a result is that you skip those mid meal junk food snacks that actually do the damage to your waistline.
