This one is for all the smokers out there, especially the new recruits and the one’s contemplating on joining the gang – Beware! While it is your life and you should definitely do whatever you feel like, we don’t think that smoking is one of the best options out there for you. We’re going to talk about a few long term effects that smoking cigarettes is going to have on your body, whether you like it or not.
No matter how you smoke it, smoking tobacco is dangerous for your body. Mood stimulation, irritability, anxiety are a few of the milder effects that are still dangerous enough to ruin your relationships with loved ones, and these are the least of your worries! You also have to worry about catching a cold or the flu, and another cold and flu! The coughing is only going to worse by the way.
Lung diseases such as tuberculosis and bronchitis shouldn’t come as a surprise to you. You guys have all probably seen the movie advertisement showing ‘Mahesh’ who didn’t survive the cancer that he had developed thanks to tobacco. And he’s just one of the thousands. Mouth cancer, lung cancer, throat cancer are all possibilities once you start with smoking cigarettes and beedis.
Women need to be extra careful if they’re going to be smoking, since doing this during pregnancy can result in serious problems. Birth defects and weak bones in your baby is not something any mother would want. Skin temperatures drop significantly since smoking causes the tightening of your blood vessels, almost choking your skin. Shorter erections, lower sperm count and deformed sperms are something all you alpha males out there who try proving your manhood with a cigarette in your mouth, wouldn’t want. For women, irregular menstrual cycles, cervical cancer, early menopause and even infertility could be all on the cards.
Also, there’s a higher risk of blindness and reduced sense of smell and taste that you have to worry about besides other things. You could also develop premature wrinkles and bleeding gums, so don’t be shocked if someone calls you grandmother.
So it would be much better if you don’t smoke and stay healthy and clean. I’m sure you wouldn’t want tar filled lungs; you’ve probably seen the gruesome pictures so we’ll spare you of that. But it’s bad either way. So don’t!
