Make Bamboo Rice Dosa

Health and fitness foods are full of exotic names, difficult to pronounce and confusing to cook. But have you ever thought of making your desi dosa more nutritious and delicious? Here’s a simple recipe for it.
Bamboo Rice Dosa is a healthy, delicious dosa made with bamboo rice and dal. Serve it with pudina chutney or potato bhaji and make your Indian palate more nutritious.

Ingredients:

- 1 cup Bamboo Rice
- 1 Cup Rice
- ½ Cup Urad Dal
- 1 Tsp Methi Seeds
- Salt , as required
- Water, as required
- 1 tsp oil (optional)

Instructions:

1. Soak rice and dal in water for 10 hours. Wash it properly for about 3 times.

2. Grind the soaked rice and dal smoothly. Add water in a mixie to make the batter properly smooth.

3. Add salt and mix it well with hand.

4. Ferment the mixture overnight.

5. In the morning stir the batter evenly.

 

 

Directions:

1. Heat the Tawa, pour 2 spoonfuls of dosa batter and spread it in a circular motion going outward
2. Drizzle oil over it and cook on both sides until it turns golden brown color.
3. Serve delicious bamboo rice dosa with green chutney or potato bhaji
