Films and celebrities can impact lives in many ways. They have an amazing effect on the fans that religiously follow and impersonate their every move. Parineeti Chopra startled one and all by transforming into healthier and sassier self. She isn't simply promoting weight loss but is motivating all of you to embrace a healthier lifestyle.

Here are some of the lessons we can learn from her:

Hitting gym regularly is not compulsory:

If gym seems boring to you then try something else that attracts and motivates you. Parineeti opted for a traditional form of martial arts which originated in Kerala - Kalarippayattu. The key to a fit body is to stay active and create a balance. You need to find the motive to stay active on a regular basis.

Self-motivation is the Key:

Instead of being inspired by the body shaming comments, self-motivation is far more important. It is the only key that can keep you going and will push you beyond your limits to obtain your desired goal.

Get out of the Comfort Zone:

Nothing else but self-made comfort zone holds you back the most. For stripping those extra calories or in general to have a healthier life, you need to come out of this zone and challenge yourself on a daily basis. Once you learn to triumph on the nagging feelings, you will surely feel healthier and better.

Don’t try to make too many changes at once:

You cannot simply transform yourself in a day. It is a process that is carried out gradually. If you suddenly change, you will soon get bored on this and won’t stick to your regime. Start with making small changes like correcting your diet steadily, over a period of time. The desire to be fit should be from within.

The mirror is your greatest inspiration:

You cannot ape anyone in terms of health and fitness. Each body type is different and has different needs to stay fit. You are your greatest competition. Keeping checking yourself and remind yourself to stay fit.

Never stop eating:

The worst thing you can do for a slimmer body is starving. It seriously does no good to your body. You need to fuel your body regularly. Not eating will make you feel lethargic and will interfere with your workout .

Balance:

Balance is the most important element of healthier lifestyle. Being a foodie, Parineeti could never her starve her body from junk. But she made sure that she reduced the portions and balanced her meal.So even if you cheat once a while with fattening treats balance it next day by a strenuous workout or have a lighter plate for dinner.

Diet Rules:

There are no strict diet rules to be followed.Just make it a point to remind yourself that whatever food you eat is healthy. Keep it light at the night and have your dinner minimum 2 hours prior to bed.

Losing weight is just a mind game:

Your mind is the major hero or culprit behind your health. You need a final push when you tell yourself to gear up.It is only your mind that can make you decide that you will spare time for the workout, have healthier food and lead a healthy life. Once this happens, you are already halfway there.

Parineeti’s diet was nothing exceptional -

Breakfast:

Milk, Brown bread and two eggs (egg white),Poha

Lunch:

Green vegetables, Roti, Dal, salad or curd and brown rice.

Dinner:

Foods cooked in some oil, sugar-free milk or a yummy chocolate shake. Sometimes even a bowl of soup and green salad especially is splurged on junk anytime in her day.

You can be a healthier self, so never give up.
