Steel Cut Oats is included in the list of my beloved breakfast list. Being a fan of Instant Oats, I was quite intrigued by the ‘Steel Cut Oats’. The name seems quite fascinating enough to allure me to buy them. From the texture to the method of preparation, everything was so different from normal Oats.  It may seem a little challenging and tedious at the first glance, but the flavor and texture of this recipe left him startled by the taste.

If you are unfamiliar to Steel Cut Oats, these are the unprocessed sibling of normal Oats and have a serious edge over the other varieties. This Oatmeal is much better than the soupy oatmeal. The best part of this meal is that the crunchiness and toothsome character is well retained even after cooking. They are much better when roasted, just like in this recipe. Made from extremely simple ingredients such as butter, milk, water, cinnamon and of course Steel Cut Oats, this recipe is perfect to kick start your morning. You can always top the meal with fresh fruits, berries, and nuts for a scrumptious flavor. Exceptionally creamy, delicious, simple to cook and bulked with flavor and nutrition, is all I can say about this recipe. Simple, a little time consuming, but seriously ‘worth the effort’, this recipe is a must make recipe.
